We offer one on one computer training in the comfort of your own home. Every lesson is tailored to your specific requirement and computer skill level. Our lessons can consist of as little as one or many as ten or more, you decide, when you have reached the competence level you wanted to attain.

BACKGROUND:

Ivan is a long time resident of Barrie, recently retired from the corporate world. Ivan's experience with computers goes back more than forty years. His company (Control Data Corp) offered email to its employees long before email was even heard of by the general public. They were also among the first companies in Canada to provide its employees with word processing equipment for office use. Ivan computer career began on old IBM punch card machines, "state of the art" at the time but antiquated by today’s standards.

EXPERIENCE:

Ivan has countless years of experience using MS (Microsoft) Office and has gained expert knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Outlook Express and Power Point. He has designed and built numerous websites, including this one. Endless hours spent surfing the world wide web and the internet has given him unparalled experience in this field. He knows how and where to find things!

Being solely responsible for specifying and purchasing all the computer equipment used by his company, makes him an invaluable asset when it comes to specifying and purchasing your new computer equipment. In addition to the above, Ivan has years of experience with online banking, online training, label design and printing, gaming and photo sharing. His vast knowledge of desk top publishing will be a great asset when you want to print business cards, design letterhead, print labels or publish your own online book.

HOW WE COVER IT:

All instructions are in the English language.

You will need a computer and a printer (colour suggested). If you do not have one we can help you to select and purchase a new computer.

You should also have a high speed Internet connection, required in order to perform some online exercises.

You will need a quiet location, free of interruption in order to receive the maximum benefits from your lessons.

Lessons may be scheduled for morning, afternoon or evening during weekdays. A limited number of weekend classes are available for Saturday or Sunday. See our rate schedule for weekend rates.

All instructions take place in the comfort of your home, unless otherwise arranged at the time of registration.

We recomend two hour lessons, but one or three hour lessons and can also be arranged at the time of registration.

Lessons will consist of oral instructions, printed materials and audio visual presentations. Not all lessons will contain all three elements.

You may be required to purchase material such as, books, CDs DVDs or binders. Some material may be supplied without charge by your instructor.
